Scary but true...Frankenstein syndrome.
Think about this for a second...people say we are what we eat, but in reality we are who we know. Sitting back and looking at everything that has went on in my short life, it is obvious that my family has created me. This includes creating my mentality, my body, my brains, everything.
Mentally- Well, when growing up we never actually see ourselves being like our mothers, or our grandmothers. In reality, when we finally hit a stage in our lives (I would say about 24) we start to notice. We are indeed like them. For instance, I caught myself using words that my mother uses. Also, I caught myself treating my friends like my mother treats her friends (in the way of mannerisms). I also saw myself treating boyfriends like she treats my dad (in a good way of course, but not in a gross way). It is like that word your friends say all the time that you start saying. I would call that the Frankenstein Syndrome...
My body- When aging it is VERY obvious that my genes are molding my body. Things my mother has, and her mother has, I now it is my turn. Not everything, but usually if I have a health problem arise, I call my mother or grandmother, and she tells me "Yeah I have that to, it is in your Genes" . Of course I do not have very many ailments at my age, but it is clear to me that the Frankenstein Syndrome will get me sooner or later.
My Brains- Sometimes I feel like my mother has pretty much brain washed me. Political views, and social situation views do not differ between us. WE AGREE ON EVERYTHING. I know that I have a free spirit, and I am allowed to have my own views. This is why the fact we have the same views on these things really interests me. Learned behavior...or what I call Frankenstein syndrome.
